Summary Interior Minister Rehman Malik has sought report from Inspector General Gilgit Baltistan.
Rehman Malik has taken notice of police firing on protesting Attabad Lake affectees and sought a report about the incident from inspector general of Gilgit-Baltistan.He said that he was monitoring Gilgit-Baltistan situation very closely. He informed that Gilgit Scouts have been deployed to help police to maintain law and order situation in the area.The incident occurred on Thursday in Hunza Nagar when Attabad Lake affectees staged a protest on arrival of GB Chief Minister in Hunza Nagar. Two people were killed when police open fire on protesters.
