Summary All that the PPP government has done, the people of Karachi will return with profit, says Mr. Umar.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Declaring the Green Line Bus Service as the change, the Federal Minister Asad Umar stated that next time Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will have neither local nor Sindh government, the Sindh government had not been doing anything.
While addressing a ceremony in Karachi Asad Umar said that, “There had been no modern transport system in Karachi but today locals have been traveling through the Green Line and millions of people in Karachi had travelled through it,” adding that, “Those who used to ask about the change have been traveling through the Green line.”
The Federal Minister further stated that, “In the time of Former President Pervez Musharraf, we have witnessed work being done in Karachi. You will see the modern train running in Karachi too. The circular railway project will also be formulated by the federal government.” Asad Umar also talked about the issues that people have to face related to water in the city of lights. He said that, “The people in Karachi have been yearning for the tiniest drop of water. We will try to solve the problems in Karachi.”
The Federal Minister went on saying that, “PPP government will not survive in Sindh or Karachi. All that the PPP government has done, the people of Karachi will return with profit.”
Asad Umar also said that, “The population of Karachi had not been completely revealed in census. The political parties had been trying to focus on politics not to solve the issue. Our allies also have banners on the census. All parties had remained in power but could not solve the issue. Now there will be another census, which will be the most transparent.”
He further added that the census would start in May and result of the census would be declared in December 2022. The federal Minister ensured that the released result will be accurate.
“Karachi is not ready to beg from anyone. Listen carefully, it is time to run the city without authority,” said Asad Umar while addressing the opposition.
