Soldier martyred in terrorist attack on North Waziristan checkpost

RAWALPINDI (Dunya news) – A soldier of Pakistan Army has embraced martyrdom during intense exchange of fire with terrorists who targeted the military post in Shewa, North Waziristan District.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Naik Noor Merjan, age 32 years was resident of Kurram.

Army troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists  location.

Clearance of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
