LHC seeks explanation from Chief Secretary over recovery of girl

Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan remarked that attitude of the IG was very irresponsible as he had nothing to do with the r law and order situation in the province.When the Justice started to conduct the hearing of the case, the plaintiff pleaded that they had nominated eight accused involved in the abduction of Kaneez 16 but the police unscrupulously declared all the accused innocent.The IG Punjab, once again, has said that he was absolutely unaware of existence of the abducted girl.At this, justice Khalid Mahmood Khan while scolding the police officer remarked that his attitude towards law and order was diametrically irresponsible, adding that this issue sought attention of the Punjab CM.He said that attitude of the police was encouraging the criminals in the society
