Summary Firdous Ashiq Awan said the Punjab Speaker was not permitting to mover resolution in Assembly.
While talking to the media after Aftar dinner, the Federal Information Minister said that 13 members submitted their resolutions in the Punjab Assembly but they were not going to be admitted.She asserted that the Punjab Speaker should give permission to submit these resolutions in the Assembly.The PPP was in consultation with all the political parties including PML-N, adding that restoration of peace in Karachi was priority of the government.While terming peace and solidarity of Pakistan with Karachi, she said that the terrorists would be rooted out. In this regard, the Rangers, the FC and police have launched an operation.The government was desirous of such solution to the problem as acceptable for the walks of life and other political parties.
