Rain, wind ease out heat intensity

The cool breeze and cloudy weather gave a relief to the heat-stricken people of Lahore. Reports of mild showers have also been received in parts of Lahore.According to the Pakistan Metrological Department ((PMD), the low pressure of monsoon winds in central parts of India has started entering Pakistan today while rain spell has started in upper parts of the country.According to the PMD, rain with thunderstorm is expected within next two days in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Malakand and Hazara divisions.Meanwhile, heavy downpour is predicted from Saturday to Monday in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Kashmir.However, weather will remain hot and humid in remaining parts of the country.
