Monsoon rain was recorded in many cities of Punjab, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan and Rawalpindi. The heavy showers in DI Khan turned the roads into canal and the rainwater entered the houses situated in the low-lying areas.The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rains in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Hazara, Kohat, Bannu and Malakand division in the next 24 hours.
