PMD forecast heavy rains in upper areas

Heavy rain with thunder storm was recorded during last 24 hours in Upper Punjab and other areas including, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat division, Karachi and Kashmir.On the other hand, citizens had to face a lot of problems due to water in lower areas of cities. Today, it rained in the suburb of Punjab, lowering temperature and upping suffocation. Likewise, weather became pleasant in Mianwali, Kala Bagh, Khushab, Gujranwala, Kasur and Hafiz Abad after rains and citizens felt sigh of relief after scorching heat and sufferings of load shedding. According to the Metrological Department(PMD), monsoon system has started entering Pakistan there is possibility of rain with thunderbolt during next 48 hours in most areas of Upper Punjab, Hazara, Kohat, Peshawar, Bannu, Malakand, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Faisalabad Divisions.Flood-like situation is being feared in canals, nullahs and streams due to heavy rains.
