Summary Qazi said power load shedding would be reduced if funds would be released.
Addressing the Standing Committee of the Senate, Water and Power Secretary Imtiaz Qazi said that rental power plants’ project was a good step but unfortunately, only three plants had been installed.Talking to the media, Qazi said that circular debt had reached Rs 3.66 trillion, while line losses stood at 19 percent. He said that if the payment would be released in president’s meeting, the payments would be made to power producing companies, which would help to cut load shedding.
