Summary The FWO vehicle was attacked with a remote control device in Wana, South Waziristan.

Militants targeted a vehicle used by the military-run construction company, the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO), with a remote-controlled bomb in the South Waziristan tribal region on the Afghan border, killing one soldier and wounding 3, local intelligence officials said.According to the official sources in Sholam, Wana Frontier Works Organizations vehicle was targeted with a remote control device, killing one and injuring 3. The injured were removed to Wana Headquarters Hospital. In another development 7 mortars were fired from Afghanistan on Angoor Adda check post, injuring one security official. In Angoor Adda one Public Call office was also blown up. Meanwhile in Khyber Agency Bara two primary schools were blown up with explosives.
