The PPP members in the National Assembly said that US Congress decision to stop the US aid to Pakistan reflected a successful foreign policy of the PPP-led government, adding that it also highlighted Pakistan’s role against war on terror in the region. They stated that talks could be held to relax the conditions.The opposition leaders said that US aid would hit Pakistan, adding that resumption of aid on US conditions was an attack on country’s sovereignty.Some members were of the view that Pakistan would pay US aid’s price.
