Summary WAPDA officials launched an operation against defaulters for the recovery of payment.
The supply of electric power to many departments of the Punjab government was cut.Punjab Public Service Commission, Agriculture Department Director General Public Relations, Transport House, Railways officer’s flats and Railways Colony are on hit list. The aforesaid departments are defaulters of more than Rs 80 million.On the other hand, MEPCO disconnected the power supply to DG Khan, Tonsa Sharif, Jampur, Rajinpur and more than other 90 water supply schemes. Millions of citizens have badly suffered.
