Summary The PPP and PML-N exchanged bitter words over non-issuance of production order for Moonis Elahi.
The session was deferred for indefinite period. Opposition leader Raja Riaz and Ch Zaheeruddin raised the point that Moonis Elahi should be produced in the Punjab Assembly just as member NA Anjum Aqeel was brought in the National Assembly on the demand of PML-N. The Speaker of PA was of the view that it was possible in NA according to rules and regulation but the Speaker PA was authorized to issue such order. At this, the Opposition walked out of the assembly. The PPP and the PML-N also criticized each other in uncivilized manner.Rana Sanaullah said PML-N did was not in need of any corrupt ally. On the other side, the PPP criticized CM over delay in announcement of results of matriculation examinations. The opposition also asked Sharif bothers to leave for Jeddah as they had no sense of politics.
