Addressing a news conference in London, Yousuf Raza Gilani said all conspiracies against democracy would be foiled. He said Pervez Musharraf remained in power for nine years, but didn’t construct the dam despite enjoying maximum authority. He said even those who enjoyed two-thirds majority couldn’t construct the KBD. He said the judges who were fired on corruption allegations now accuse the government of being corrupt. He said the PPP government welcomes the decision of the MQM to continue with the Sindh governorship. The PM also said the MQM has always supported the government on key issues.
