Pakistan committed to maintain regional peace: Tahir Ashrafi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi says Pakistan is committed to maintain the regional peace and will continue its efforts in this regard.

Talking to media after Pak-Afghan Ulema Conference in Islamabad today (Thursday), he said Pakistan s peace is linked with the peace in Afghanistan. He said Pakistan has rendered sacrifices of life and property for maintaining peace in Afghanistan.

Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said the Ulema of both the countries have given unanimous stance against the violence. He said Islam is the religion of peace, love and tolerance.
