Summary Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah called on Governor Latif Khosa on Wednesday.
Matters of concern were discussed during the meeting.Few days ago, Punjab governor has called in the provincial secretaries including the Chief Secretary to brief him on the provincial matters but the officers refused to go to Governor’s House.After returning from UK visit, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the governor does not have authority to receive direct briefing.Rana Sanaullah, accompanied by Chief Secretary, Health and Education Secretaries, arrived at Governor’s House today.The officer also participated after the one-on-one meeting between the Governor and Rana Sanaullah.Governor Khosa expressed his concern over the law and order situation in the province and asked about the Punjab government measures taken in this regard.The law minister took the governor into confidence regarding appointments of Vice Chancellors in the Universities.
