PSO supplies 0.5m litre diesel to Railways

The PSO had earlier warned cutting the oil supply to the Railways due to non-payment.The Pakistan Railways had given cheques worth Rs 300 million to the PSO but those cheques could not be cashed due to non-availability of proper amount in the account.At this, PSO returned the dishonoured cheques to the Railways, warning it of stopping the supply of oil.On the other hand, Railways GM Saeed Akhter said oil money is reimbursed after earning revenue, mostly from ticket sales.He said PSO officials needed not to be worried about anything; their cheques would be cashed within two or three days.
