Summary Twelve killed, 25 injured as speeding bus overturns near Burhan Interchange
HASSAN ABDAL (Dunya News) – A bus traveling from Lahore to Mardan overturned near Burhan Interchange due to overspeeding, killing 12 passengers and injuring 25 others as a result.
As soon as the accident was reported, rescue teams rushed to the spot and started rescue operations.
Rescue officials say the dead included a woman and a young girl. Motorway police and rescue teams are on the scene and rescue operations are underway. Passengers with severe injuries are being shifted to Rawalpindi.
