Summary Court extends Javed Latif's physical remand for four days

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The court on Monday has extended the physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Javed Latif for four days in a case registered against him on charges of inciting people against state institutions.

According to details, the PML-N leader was produced before the court for the hearing.

Earlier, police personnel had arrested Javed Latif after sessions court canceled his bail plea.

Previously, the Lahore High Court (LHC), while hearing Mian Javed Latif’s plea seeking dismissal of case, had stressed that no relief will be given to the person who speaks against Pakistan.

Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan reprimanded Javed Latif and said in his remarks that the PML-N leader should leave Pakistan and take nationality of any other country. The parliamentarians should do self-accountability, he affirmed.

The LHC chief justice said those who will not raise the slogan of Pakistan khappay (long live Pakistan) will be crushed by people like ants. He said no one can dare to give anti-Pakistan statement.

Personalities come and go but institutions remain, and the constitution of the country is more important than individuals, Justice Qasim Khan added.
