Rude behavior with government officials is reprehensible: Chief Secretary Punjab

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik while reacting to the incident of Sialkot said that he condemns rude behavior with the administrative officer in Ramadan Bazaar.

A statement issued by Jawad Rafique Malik said that Assistant Commissioner Sonia Sadaf and other administrative officers were on the front line despite the scorching heat and Coronavirus. Use of immoral language with any government official or staff is reprehensible, he added.

He said that administrative officers from all over Punjab were present in the field day and night for the convenience of the people which was commendable. It does not befit anyone to humiliate government officials.

The Chief Secretary Punjab said that he salutes the tireless work and courage of all the officers present in the field.

“I have conveyed my concerns to the Chief Minister of Punjab regarding this tragic incident”, he said.
