Shehbaz demands provision of vaccines to the masses on war footing

LAHORE (Dunya News) - PML-N President Mian Shehbaz Sharif has urged the government to begin the process of countrywide vaccination against Covid-19 on a war footing.

He said this in a meeting with PML-N parliamentarians on Thursday. He said that the government has endangered the collective life of the nation due to serious mismanagement in preventing the spread of covid-19.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the administrative and governmental system has been completely paralyzed due to the lack of a comprehensive strategy. The spread of this deadly virus could have been prevented if the vaccine had been delivered to the citizens in a timely manner, he added.

He said that the management of hospitals was also no different. There is an absence of alternative arrangements and preparation in advance is nowhere to be seen. Even now, the government is not taking steps according to the situation.

He directed the party leaders to take special care of the poor and needy of their respective constituencies.
