Summary Decision was taken in order to address possibility of oxygen shortage due to rise in COVID-19 cases.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh government has decided to ban elective surgery in all public and hospitals in Sindh due to rise in COVID-19 cases in the province, Dunya News reported on Monday.
In his message on Twitter, Adviser to Chief Minister of Sindh Murtaza Wahab said that in order to address the possibility of oxygen shortage due to rise in COVID19 cases, Sindh Govt has decided to impose a complete ban on elective surgeries in public as well as private hospitals.
Murtaza Wahab also clarified that surgeries in emergency cases will remain continue in all hospital.
