Karachi: 15 killed, 20 injured in firing, arson attacks

Senior Sindh Minister Zulfiqar Mirza’s statement against MQM chief Altaf Hussain has again triggered violence after which tension engulfed different areas.At least 15 people were killed while dozons were injured as firing started in different areas.Unknown people burnt tryes and blocked the roads in different areas including MA Jinnah Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Liaquatabad.Fear grips the city as firing continues in several areas including Landhi, Korangi, Malir and Nazimabad. The petrol pumps and shops have been closed.Meanwhile, unidentified people set more than 37 vehicles on fire in different areas.
