Summary COAS Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Mohmand Agency and exhorted tribals to play role for peace.
The COAS said the tribal people should take effective control of the situation and work towards a lasting peace. He said the success against the militants had been made possible by the sacrifices and operational preparedness of the armed and paramilitary forces.Gen Kayani also praised the joint Army-PAF operation in Soran sector. He later met representatives of Mohmand tribes.
