SC suspends departmental action against Zafar Qureshi

No departmental inquiry would be made against him without permission of the apex court.NICL case was heard by a three-member bench of SC, headed by CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The bench ordered to submit till July 13 the notification of the transfers of four FIA officers.The CJ said when the court had barred action against Zafar Qureshi, why he was sent a notice. If Qureshi becomes dishonest today, everybody would stand by him, the CJ said in his remarks.The SC also ordered the Secretary Information to take notice of the media campaign against the judiciary.Hearing was adjourned for a day.
