Summary Polling for AJK legislative Assembly seat LA-6 Bhimber-2 has started.
The contest is one-on-one between the PPP and the PML-N candidates.The AJK Election Commission set up 50 polling stations in the constituency.The police have recovered 10,000 bogus votes and stamps from Kar and arrested four men. The AJK Election Commission had cancelled polling at LA Bhimber-2 after reports of bogus vote casting surfaced on June 26.PPP’s Chaudhry Razzaq had withdrawn in favour of independent candidate Ali Shan Soni, who announced to join the PPP.Now there is a one-on-one contest between PPP’s Ali Shan Soni and PML-N’s Raja Razzaq.
