Summary NEPRA has approved an increase of 55 paisas per unit for Gulf Rental Power tariff.
The notification says that oil prices went up by Rs 2,000 per metric tonne in June, increasing production cost for the Gulf rental Power Plant from Rs 15.6 a unit to Rs 15.61 a unit. The new tariff has been made effective from June 30 retrospectively.
