Summary Banking Court judge has refused to hear NICL case against Moonis Elahi and sent it to LHC.
Moonis was presented in the court amid tight security. When the hearing started, PML-N leader’s counsel contended that all who testified against Moonis have deviated from their stances, therefore he should be freed.When judge Mian Abdul Rasheed started questioning co-accused Muhammad Malik, the counsel for Moonis engaged in a heated exchange of words with the judge. The judge then refused to hear the case any further and sent it to the Lahore High Court.PML-Q leader Moonis was sent back to the jail in tight security. Party workers present on the court premises raised slogans for their leader.
