Summary Three Multinational Companies have alleged Pak government has violated international deals.
Pakistan government has been sent notice stating that the local companies dealing in LPG have been given undue advantage and benefit by discouraging the foreign investors. The companies also threatened to move the London court if heavy fines are not paid to them. It was also alleged in the notice that artificial scarcity was created to benefit the local companies by increasing the price of LPG. By increasing the price the government is fleecing the masses, stated the legal notice. The notice was sent the Prime Minister Gilani and he has sought the opinion of the law ministry on the issue.
