SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Pervez Rashid and Marriyum Aurangzeb called on Pakistan People’s Party senior leader Khursheed Shah at a hospital in Sukkur and inquired about his health, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
According to sources, Pervez Rashid and Marriyum Aurangzeb also discussed current political situation in the country with PPP stalwart Khursheed Shah during the meeting.
The PPP leader was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Islamabad on September 18, 2019.
According to a statement issued by the anti-graft watchdog at the time, he was taken into custody by the bureau s Sukkur chapter in an assets beyond means case.
The NAB has nominated Shah and 17 others, including his two wives, two sons, and a son-in-law, in a reference pertaining to making assets worth Rs1.23 billion beyond his known sources of income.
