LAHORE (Dunya News) - Lahore Metro bus revenue has dropped by 50% due to non-availability of e-tickets. Metro Bus Lahore s revenue has declined by an average of Rs1.5 million per day.

According to the details, during the rule of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the metro bus is being neglected. Due to non-availability of e-tickets, the administration has introduced an ordinary slip system to make it easier. Passengers traveling in the metro bus are getting on the bus after getting the slip.

Metro bus revenue has dropped by 50% due to non-availability of e-tickets. Metro Bus Lahore s revenue has declined by an average of Rs1.5 million per day.

Earlier, the average daily revenue was Rs3 million, which has dropped to Rs1.5 million within 11 days. In 11 days, the authority has lost Rs16.5 million in revenue.

The money received in the form of tickets has started going into the pockets of the employees. Metro Bus Contractor Inbox Company has closed ticketing machinery at stations.

Passengers are being allowed at the stations after buying an ordinary slip from the ticket box. The new Metro Bus contractor has not yet installed its e-ticketing machinery.
