I am not one to surrender in face of adversity: Maulana Fazlur Rehman

DI KHAN (Dunya News) - Head of Pakistan Democratic Movement and Leader Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he is not one to surrender in the face of adversity.

Talking to media in DI Khan on Friday, the PDM head said that Musa Khan has defeated the NAB. He is putting up a strong fight and I salute him, he added.

He said that PDM is battling against an incompetent government and there is complete consensus that it needs to go. He said he has been told by police that there is pressure to restrict his security detail but he will not back down.

Regarding Maulana Sherani and his outburst against party leadership, Fazlur Rehman said that PTI was supporting Maulana Sherani’s statement.

He said that PML-F was the B-team of the establishment and any dialogue must be preceded by the government’s ouster and new general elections.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced that a ‘death to Israel’ rally will be held in Karachi in January.
