Summary PDM should take path of dialogue, not resignations: Muhammad Ali Durrani

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Muhammad Ali Durrani has said that PDM should take the path of dialogue instead of resignations from assemblies.

Muhammad Ali Durrani said this while talking to Dunya News program "Nuqta-e-Nazar". He said that we want the parliament to remain functional. We have a complete outline of the Track Two negotiations and I don’t think things would escalate towards resignations, he added.

He said that the third proposal that we presented was of a grand dialogue. The opposition can involve anyone it wants into the dialogue.

Referring to his meeting with PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif in jail, he said that Shehbaz was not in favor of any confrontation. He is positive about resignations and sit-in, but his role will be limited while locked up.

The PML-F leader said that the country was facing extraordinary circumstances. In the current situation, an environment conducive for dialogue must be created, for which Pir Pagara will contact the government.
