Summary Punjab govt decides to divide Lahore into multiple districts
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab government is considering to divide Lahore into further districts like Karachi.
According to details, a proposal to divide Lahore into multiple districts was tabled in a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Chief Minister has sought full action plan for practical steps in this regard. The matter will be reviewed again in a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister next week.
Punjab Chief Minister has backed the proposal, which was made to further improve governance in the rapidly expanding city.
