QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least five persons, including three policemen, were wounded in a hand grenade attack on a police van at the Spinni Road in Quetta on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, some miscreants hurled a hand grenade at a police mobile at the Spinni Road near RBC centre, injuring three policemen and two civilians.
The injured police officials and civilians were shifted to Civil Hospital, Quetta for treatment. Police sources said that the police van was badly damaged in the attack.
Security force personnel reached the spot after the attack and cordoned off the area and launched search operation to arrest the culprits. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has condemned the attack.
