Summary MQM would choose the opposition leader as they would have the most number of opposition members.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement has 51 members out of a total of 168 members in the Sindh Assembly which included 10 ministries and one advisory. The Sindh Assembly already had 16 members in the opposition but after MQM’s separation from the government, there are now 67 opposition members in the Sindh Assembly. Since MQM will have the most number of members in the opposition, the opposition leader would also be chosen from MQM.
