KARACHI (Dunya News) – The process of paying compensation to heirs of victims of PIA plane crash near Karachi airport on May 22 will start today (Friday), Dunya News reported. Compensation will be paid to only those heirs who had complete the inheritance documents
According to sources, in the first phase, Rs 10 million each will be paid to five heirs of crash victims. The two survivors of the plane crash, Muhammad Zubair and Zafar Masood, would also get Rs 10 million each.
Sources said that Rs10 million each would be paid to the heirs of 97 passengers killed in the May 22 plane crash. Earlier, the PIA provided Rs1m each to the families of the deceased passengers for their last rites/funeral.
