Summary A tight contest is being fought between the candidates of the PPP and the PML-N for LA 38 in Multan.

Pakistan People’s Party’s SM Shah and Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Shaukat Hassan Shah are contesting the election for Kashmiri refugees’ seat in Multan at the LA 38 Valley-3 constituency. Four polling booths have been set up at the government Islamia High School polling station where 1,474 people will cast their vote. According to the returning officer, the voters’ turnaround is 25 to 30 percent.A large number of policemen have been deployed to maintain law and order during the polls.The irrelevant people are not allowed to enter the premises of polling station.
