Summary PML-N, PPP avoiding to present record in foreign funding case: Farrukh Habib
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Secretary Farrukh Habib has said that PML-N and PPP are running away from presenting the record in foreign funding case.
He said that the accounts of both the political parties were used for money laundering. The scrutiny committee of the Election Commission is seeking records from the PML-N and the PPP.
Talking to media outside the Election Commission, Farrukh Habib said that there should be no further delay in the PML-N and PPP funding case. The scrutiny committee should decide by November 5.
On this occasion, PML-N lawyer Jahangir Jadoon told the media that despite the directive of the Election Commission, the PTI failed to provide evidence even after two and a half years.
PPP lawyer Latif Khosa said that we have provided all the details.
During the hearing, the scrutiny committee took the position that it had sought details of the accounts of both the parties from the SBP.
