LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president on Monday has said that with strong constitution we can develop Pakistan.
While talking to ‘vote ko izzat do’ volunteers in Lahore, the PML-N leader said that supremacy of the Constitution can only be achieved if we give respect to vote. We have to promote dialogues in positive way for the betterment of democracy, she added.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz had said that ‘vote ko izzat do’ has always been the narrative of former prime minister and party supremo Nawaz Sharif.
She also described the sedition case against PML-N leaders as a result of talking about the constitution and the law. Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will send the incumbent rulers packing, she stated.
“The sanctity of vote was violated in the country,” she said, adding the cure to every disease lies in ‘vote ko izzat do’.
