The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted a hot and dry weather in most parts of the country for 24 hours but rains along with thunder are expected in Kashmir, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Sargodha.According to the PMD, 41 degrees Celsius was recorded in Islamabad, 39 in Lahore and Quetta, 40 in Muzaffarabad, 43 in Multan, Peshawar and Faisalabad, 34 in Karachi, 42 in Gilgit while 26 degree Celsius was recorded in Murree.
