Summary According to CTD spokesperson, the terrorist belonged to banned outfit Al Qaeda.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A terrorist of banned outfit was killed in exchange of fire with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the CTD conducted a raid in Musharraf Colony area of Karachi on an intelligence-based report during which terrorists hiding in the area opened fire. The law-enforcement agency personnel returned the fire during which one terrorist was arrested in injured condition.

The injured terrorist was shifted to hospital where he died during treatment. According to in charge CTD, the dead terrorist was identified as Saeed Lohar and belonged to banned outfit Al Qaeda.

The CTD officials also recovered a bag from the killed terrorist which contained two Improvised explosive devices (IEDs) which were later diffused by Bomb Disposal Squad.
