Attempt made to deprive basic human rights under guise of FATF: Raza Rabbani

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Senator Raza Rabbani has said that under the guise of FATF, an attempt is being made to deprive the people of their basic human rights and strengthen the Fascist system.

Senator Raza Rabbani said that the government is constantly borrowing. Parliament is not being taken into confidence in any matter. Legislation is being drafted at gunpoint.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said that Pakistan was based on federalism, in which the points of provincial autonomy were at the forefront.

Raza Rabbani said that after the formation of Pakistan, unfortunately, Quaid-e-Azam was not with us. Their thinking and values changed, Pakistan became a national security state.

The PPP leader said that the forces in the favor to undo the 18th amendment have united. Islamabad is said to have been weakened, he added.
