Summary Five Pakistani fishermen captive in India for the past 3 months are expected to be released soon.

Pakistani human rights and civil rights activist Ansar Burney said that Laal Baksh Lahoti, Farad, Orangzaib, Sajjad Ali and Muhammad Umar were arrested by the Indian Navy and handed over to the Mumbai Police about three months ago but they still haven’t been presented in court. Dunya News received the pictures of the five fishermen.Indian High Commission informed Ansar Burney that there were no accusations on the five Pakistani fishermen and hence they would soon be released and that they would return to their country within two weeks.
