Weather turns pleasant after rains in northern Punjab

Summary PMD has predicted that in the next 24 hours, weather would remain dry in most parts of country.

Rawalpindi and Islamabad region received heavy rain with strong wind and thunder. Hail storming was also recorded in few areas of the region that turned weather pleasant. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the highest rainfall was recorded in Sargodha at 48 millimetres. PMD has predicted that in the next 24 hours, weather would remain hot and dry in most parts of the country. On the other hand, PMD has predicted that there is a chance of heavy winds and rains in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Shahiwal, Bahawalpur and Kashmir.
