ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Excise and Taxation Department, Islamabad has decided to start e-tagging system to stop car theft, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

It has been learnt that the latest e-tagging system will be according to the international standards and will trace vehicles through radio frequency.

The e-tagging system comprises secret number plates which will be installed in screens of cars. The technology will make it difficult for thieves to steal vehicles and keep them hidden.
