Summary IHC forms larger bench in Kulbhushan Yadav case hearing
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has constituted a larger bench for the next hearing of Indian spy Kulbhushan Singh Yadav’s case.
The larger bench of the Islamabad High Court comprises Chief Justice Athar Minallah, Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb. Notices have been issued to all parties for September 3, when the larger bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah will hear the case.
At the last hearing, the court had ordered the formation of a larger bench. The Islamabad High Court had also issued orders to re-offer Kulbhushan and India to appoint their lawyers.
The Attorney General will brief the Court on India and Kulbhushan’s reply on September 3. Senior lawyers Abid Hassan Manto, Hamid Khan and Makhdoom Ali Khan have been appointed as amici curiae in the case.
