The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says that pre monsoon raining spell has started in the northeastern regions of the country.According to the PMD, the second pre monsoon rains spell will start on June 20, the third spell will start from the last week on June while the monsoonal rains will formally commence from the first week of July. The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country yesterday. Maximum temperature, 47 degree Celsius, was recorded in Sibbi while 42 in Faisalabad and Peshawar, 42 in Lahore, 41 in Multan, 35 in Karachi and 39 Celsius was recorded in Quetta.
