Chance of rain in different parts of country on Saturday

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rain with strong winds and thundershowers is being forecast at a few places in Northern Punjab, Eastern Balochistan, Northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday.

According to the Meteorological Department, hot and humid weather prevailed in most parts of the country on Friday but rain was recorded at several places in Karachi.

It is likely to rain with strong winds and thundershowers in most parts of the country on Saturday, while dusty winds are also expected in South Punjab.

During the last 24 hours, Central Punjab, Sindh, South Balochistan, North Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir received showers with thunderstorms.

Rain recorded in Bhakkar was 49mm, Lahore 41, Layyah 30, Kot Addu 17, Faisalabad 04, Jhang 02, Chhachro 26, Chhor 15, Islamkot 13, Karachi 13, Pad Eidan 05, Badin 04, Jacobabad 03, Thatta 02, Mirpur Khas, Haiderabad, Larkana and Dadu 01, Sibi 17, Lasbela 10, Barkhan 07, Turbat, Panjgur 01, Gilgit and Bagrut 02 and 1mm rain was recorded in Dir.
