Summary Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the persons trapped in the building.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – One person sustained injuries when portion of a two-storey residential building collapsed in Karachi on late Monday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, some potion of a dilapidated two-storey residential building collapsed in Shah Baig Lane area of Lyari due to recent rain in the City, causing injuries to one person.
Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the other persons trapped in the building with the help of local residents by using ladders and other equipment. Rescue sources informed that seven to eight families were residing in the building.
The injured was later shifted to Civil Hospital, Karachi. Heavy contingents of Rangers and police also reached the site after the incident and took part in rescue operation.
